HEARING ASSESSMENT
During your first appointment, we take around an hour to check the health of your ears and assess your hearing function. We’ll also spend time to understand your lifestyle and therefore your hearing needs so that we can ensure the best options to manage your hearing needs.
If your hearing function can be improved, we’ll explain the type of hearing loss you’re experiencing, the likely cause and suggest what can be done to help improve your situation.
If you decide that hearing aids are the best option, we can advise you on the various options and functionality that may be of benefit to you.
Our bespoke hearing aids take one to two weeks to prepare after which we will contact you to arrange a fitting appointment. During the fitting appointment, we will help to set up your hearing aid to the most comfortable settings for you and explain how to use your hearing aids.
It doesn’t stop here. We will be in regular contact to help you in your hearing journey. Any adjustments can be made in practice or at your home and you also receive unlimited after care to ensure that your hearing aids are providing optimum benefit.s.
TINITUS TEST
Tinnitus is the name for hearing noises that aren’t caused by an outside source. It’s not usually a sign of any serious conditions and generally improves over time. There are however treatments that can help.

MICRO-SUCTION & IRRIGATION WAX REMOVAL
A build up of ear-wax may effect your hearing and can also cause discomfort too. If you feel you are struggling to hear what’s going on around you, seek relief from your discomfort and recover your hearing back to its usual state quickly and efficiently by having the wax removed.
Our Audiologist is trained to offer Micro-Suction wax removal. This procedure uses a fine, low-pressure suction device to safely remove the blockage.
Micro-Suction treatment can be carried out at your home or at Hilliers Vision.
HEARING AID REPAIRS
